Business should be simple. And fun. |
In the past 30 days, I’ve heard:
- “I’ve had hiring a VA on my list for over a year and just didn’t know where to start.”
- “Having someone help me sounds awesome, but what would they even do?”
- “I feel like I need to apologize to my assistant because I have so much to give them but not sure where to start.”
And then, on the flip side, here’s the chorus from social media ads 🙄:
- “A VA can do low-value work while you do everything else.”
- “Hiring a VA is your answer to scaling.”
- “Just hire an assistant and watch your business grow.”
All technically true. But none of them give you clarity or an actionable path for actually making it work.
That’s why I so often hear, “Someone told me to just hire a VA” ... followed by the blank stare.
Because what does “low-value work” even mean when you’re running yourself ragged and it all feels high-stakes?
How are you supposed to “scale” when you don’t even know what role you want to play as the owner?
Half-baked advice like this makes smart business owners feel like they’re missing a secret code. Like there’s a troll 🧌 under the bridge to scaling, asking you riddles while everyone else magically walks across.
The truth is there is no secret code. You shouldn't feel left out. There magic is just clarity: knowing what’s yours to own, what’s yours to hand off, and how to set someone else up to succeed.
That’s exactly what we walk through in my Delegation Strategy Sessions. You can book one here. And I promise, no mystery-troll vibes. 😉 Just clarity and a plan that actually works.
One client said after their session:
“Wow. It’s like you’re in my brain. This all feels so easy now, and I feel silly I didn’t figure it out before. But honestly, I couldn’t even figure out where to start.”
And hey, if you’re not up for my gentle riddles and would rather DIY it, no hard feelings. My new Hiring Kit is in beta (still free $0), and it’ll walk you through the steps on your own.
Same clarity, just fewer laughs.
