The simple fix for “ugh, I guess it’s on me again”

Lead Well. Work Simply. Scale Smart.

My husband and I don’t argue about chores. We’ve got lanes.

He does the laundry. (Because if I do it, it’s guaranteed to sit in the basket for two weeks. I know my weaknesses.)
I do the dishes.
He’s on yard duty (because I’m not picking up dog 💩 and he’s actually got a green thumb).
I handle the floors (because, honestly 90% of the crumbs come from me and the kids anyway)

It’s not about keeping score. It’s about knowing who owns what. So when something doesn’t get done, there’s no side-eye, no resentment, no “ugh, I guess it’s on me again.” It’s just: they’ll get to it…or I’ll pitch in if I’ve got the energy.

That little bit of clarity? It makes our house run smoother and keeps us from losing our minds. And its such a simple freaking strategy.

And the same thing applies to your business. If you feel like everything ends up back on your desk then this week's Quickcast is FOR YOU!

Quickcast: Creating Clear Role & Accountability

(Watch Time: 6:18)

In this week’s Strategy, Solutions & Sanity Quickcast, I walk you through a dead-simple way to clean this up so:
👉 You stop being the bottleneck
👉 Your team finally knows who owns what
👉 And accountability doesn’t feel like micromanaging

The strategy might feel a little “corporate” at first, but I promise—it’s the quickest way to get clarity and ownership today.

🚨 Wait! Quick favor… I need your help.

I'm thinking of creating a kit that has all our juicy proven processes for finding awesome assistants in it.

This would differ from our Hiring & Interviewing Playbook (which mroe so explains how to think through hiring and interviewing your next team member). This hiring kit would include our own job descriptions, screening questionnaires, interview questions, and our thought process between what's a red or green flag.

PLUS, we'd throw in our 3-Step Delegation Strategy Framework, the exact process we walk through with clients who know they need help but have no idea where to start.

Before I build it out, I wanna know… would you actually use this?

So if you’ve been carrying your business on your back, this is your nudge: pick one messy process, sketch it out, and give it lanes.
