Why I Get More Done in 3 Days Than I Did in 5

Lead Well. Work Simply. Scale Smart.

Work isn’t life.

I know that goes against what most of us were taught - starting in kindergarten when we were asked to draw what we wanted to be when we grew up.

But running your business or leading a team shouldn’t take up 99% of your mental bandwidth (or your physical time).
If it does, I hate to break it to you… but something’s off.
*cue cringing vulnerability*

Last year, I worked 4–5 days a week.
Some weeks I was slammed with meetings, projects, events — all the things.
I was hustlin’.

And I was still not making progress on some of my goals.
I’d sit at my computer like,
“WTF am I supposed to do today?”
followed by,
“WTF is the point if all this energy isn’t actually moving me forward?”

This year?
I work three days a week — I’ve chosen to keep my little ones home with me more.
And I get more done in 26 hours than I did in the 36–50 I was working last year.

That didn’t happen by accident.
I had to audit one specific thing in my work.

So if you’re stretched thin, constantly busy, or side-eyeing your goal board wondering what it’s all for…

Going Live With Jennifer Lacy Tomorrow

I met Jennifer (or as she likes to say, collided) at a conference in June.
And I was immediately awestruck an thinking, “How do I get to be more like her?”

Professionally, she’s all about bridging the gap between people and process.
But the way she shows up personally?
It’s like she’s bridging the gap between this disconnected world we live in…
and what it actually feels like to be heard in a conversation.
I'm so excited to get to soak up some of her wisdom and energy tomorrow!
